Thank-you for visiting our site. We are a Christian Church who have been meeting together and serving the Lord for over 130 years in the Carryduff area.
We seek to follow God, as He has taught us in the Bible, with the aim of reaching out to the community around us and developing Christians in our fellowship to become mature and strong in the Lord. We are glad of the fellowship of other Bible based Christian churches in the Carryduff area but we are are an independent fellowship.

LIGHT IN A DARK TIME
“When Jesus spoke again to the
people, He said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light
of life.’ ”
John 8:12
One of Belfast’s most celebrated sons, Clive Staples Lewis once wrote: ‘I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.’ Christianity presents a coherent and comprehensive framework because it is rooted in the identity and teachings of the Lord Jesus who declared Himself to be ‘the light of the world.’ Without Christ one cannot live in keeping with their Creator’s purpose for their life.
Few people consider that they do not exist for themselves alone. Mankind was made to know, love, serve, and glorify the Almighty God of the Universe. His light reveals human sin, but also demonstrates the way to be forgiven and declared righteous before the Judge of the universe. As 1 John 1:7 puts it: ‘But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.’ What is more, Christ’s death and resurrection show that people matter to God and that there is hope beyond this life.
